**Job Description:**
- Provide direct and personalized nursing care to patients using scientific nursing principles.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepare and administer medications (orally, subcutaneously, IV) and record all necessary documentation.
- Report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments in compliance with nursing policies.
- Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-treatment care needs.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs accurately.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting electronic displays effectively.
- Initiate corrective actions for patients showing any adverse symptoms.
- Deliver bedside care to a diverse range of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery care.
- Create and implement patient education plans as directed by physicians.
- Teach patients how to manage their illness/injury, including home care requirements.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards and protocols.
- Participate actively in discharge planning.
- Utilize strong time management skills to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all care provided in the appropriate formats.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned based on the setting.
