Join Our Dynamic Medical/Surgical Unit!** **Job Description:** - **Beds:** 34 - **Staffing Ratios:** 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 PCT per 9 patients - **Float Required:** Yes - to other medical/surgical units - **Weekend Coverage:** Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts/month - **Locals Accepted:** No - must reside > 75 miles away - **Patient Diagnoses:** - Primarily surgical patients - Joint center of excellence for hip, knee, and shoulder replacements - General surgery cases including appendectomies, exploratory laparotomies, and hernias - Medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring - **Age Range:** Adolescents to elderly, treating diseases across all ages - **Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Only medical/surgical unit with wall suction, accommodating patients requiring suction - Utilizes a care delivery model with modified teams when full teams are unavailable - **Special Equipment:** Wall suction for patients needing suction - **Certifications Required:** - ACLS - BLS - NIHSS - **Previous Charge Experience:** Preferred - **Years of Experience Required:** 2 years - **Unit Accepts First-Time Travelers:** Yes - **Scrubs:** Any combination of navy blue and/or white **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
