Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse to work in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
The role involves providing care for a wide variety of patients, including those with complex emergency department admission diagnoses.
The nurse will be responsible for managing care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Floating between units may be required, ensuring care is delivered effectively within the full scope of nursing practice.
The nurse must be comfortable working with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6.
Weekend and holiday shifts will be required as scheduled.
This position involves the use of advanced monitoring and care techniques for a diverse patient population.
Other responsibilities include patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Candidates must have a proven ability to handle high-stress situations and deliver compassionate patient care.
The ability to adapt to changing environments and patient needs is essential for success in this role.
Certifications in CPR and advanced cardiac life support are mandatory for applicants.
Prior experience with various medical procedures, including management of cardiac drips and using telemonitoring systems, is preferred.
