Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg/Telemetry.
The position requires night and day shifts, each lasting 12 hours.
You will provide care to patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of acute care experience within the last six months.
An active New York Single State RN license is mandatory, as well as BLS certification.
The role requires proficiency in EPIC charting and the ability to monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies.
Skills in IV therapy and phlebotomy, along with knowledge of isolation precautions, are essential.
You will work under a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7.
There may be a requirement to float within your skill set.
Weekend and holiday work will be expected based on scheduling needs.
Candidates should be flexible with block scheduling requests.
This position does not accept pending licenses.
