This position includes working three 12-hour day shifts. The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients with various medical diagnoses. Daily census averages around 16 patients. The unit consists of 19 staffed beds. Patient-to-nurse ratios may vary from 1:5 to 1:6 based on staffing needs. The role requires knowledge of telemetry, including monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms. Nurses may be required to float to other sister units as needed.
