Description: Registered Nurse for Orthopedics required. Shifts are 3x12 Nights (19:00-07:30). Every other weekend and holidays are required as scheduled. Floating within the specialty and to lower acuity as needed is required. The unit has 26 beds with a patient population that includes joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spine surgeries. Special equipment includes PCA pumps, Bucks traction, overbed trapeze, and more. Daily census is approximately 26 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and others. Travelers must have experience with MS/Tele and Ortho trauma. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable with floating within the scope with no restrictions or special requests. Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary. Candidates must meet the necessary documentation deadlines.
