Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience required - Experience with insulin administration, oral suctioning, and management of colostomy/ileostomy care Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in medical-surgical and telemetry settings. The nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in a fast-paced environment. Weekly program rotations to various units may occur based on clinical needs. The nurse is expected to manage a patient ratio of 1:4. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The position does not require on-call duties. Traveling staff will be compensated for mileage if floating to certain locations. Nurses must have a vehicle for this assignment to fulfill travel requirements. All nurses will be expected to float to different units as needed. Candidates should possess strong skills in managing cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, and wound care. Communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary support teams are essential.
