Care will be provided for emergency department border patients, medication nurses in the acute mental health unit, and non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU.

Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips. Telemetry monitoring includes measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. Experience with TR Band is required. Must be able to perform cardiac drips and read telemetry strips. The clinician to patient ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night. Care will be provided for emergency department border patients, medication nurses in the acute mental health unit, and non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU. The facility has a bed count of 371, and unit sizes range from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation will include days and evenings with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contract. The charting system used is EPIC.
