Job Description:

- Provide care to a diverse patient population, including primarily adult Med/Surg patients and occasional pediatric patients.
Position Highlights:
- Flex day/night rotation.
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Opportunity to serve as Charge RN when needed.
- Potential to act as a Preceptor.
- Gain valuable Critical Access Hospital experience.
- Broad scope of practice: medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient, and occasional pediatric care.
- Collaborative and supportive nursing team.
About the Role:
- Coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
- Utilize the Nursing Process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
- Make a meaningful impact every shift while working at the top of your license.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required.
- Charge RN experience preferred.
- Current RN license (Vermont or Compact Multi-State).
- BLS (American Heart Association) required.
- ACLS (American Heart Association) required.
- Meditech experience preferred.

Housing and Transportation Requirements:
- Located in rural northeastern Vermont, approximately two hours from the nearest major airport.
- Public transportation is not available; a dependable personal vehicle is required for the assignment.
- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing accommodations, but local housing resources can be provided for assistance.
Important Information:
- This role primarily focuses on an adult medical/surgical unit.
- Occasional pediatric patients may be admitted; positions for pediatric-only RNs will not be considered.
- Flu vaccination is required with no exceptions.
- All credentials must be uploaded at least five business days before the start date to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
