If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, travelers will be expected to work 1 of the 2 holidays. Please do not request more than 1 holiday off. Interviews cannot be guaranteed, and scheduling requests cannot be accommodated. Candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the clinical pass is within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for final decision. Manager will interview. Travelers may care for COVID patients. Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Nights schedule requires 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekends may be required, likely every other weekend. Floating to all medical surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation may be necessary. Candidates must manage high-acuity patients in an intermediate care setting. Common patient populations include adults experiencing cardiac disease and stroke. Special procedures may include care for acute cardiac events, pre and post electrophysiology studies, and catheterizations. All RNs must be certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Stroke management. Candidates must be skilled in various nursing procedures and telemetry monitoring. Will float to units with diverse patient diagnoses as required.
