This unit manages a patient census of 29 beds. The nurse will care for adult patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, UTI, AKI, pneumonia, cholecystitis, and CHF. The patient-nurse ratio is expected to be 1:5. Floating within the specialty and other units may be required. Working every other weekend is mandatory. The nurse will administer medications and therapies, including managing cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring. Experience with various nursing skills and procedures, such as central line blood draws, oxygen management, and wound care, is essential. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. All candidates must comply with facility policies regarding vaccinations and credentialing processes.
