TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Bel Air, Maryland, 21014!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 1 Year Recommended License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Required Must-Have: - First-time travelers accepted - Ability to float within specialty and other units as needed Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit. The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts each week. Experience in a similar role is required. The nurse will provide care to adult patients with various diagnoses including sepsis, urinary tract infections, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, cholecystitis, and congestive heart failure. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. The role requires adherence to isolation precautions and effective use of personal protective equipment. Nurses will manage medication administration, including blood products and various IV therapies. Experience with telemetry monitoring is essential for this position. The role may include caring for patients with tracheostomies and managing post-operative care. Visitors may also deal with patients undergoing substance withdrawal and those with mood disorders. Additional responsibilities include wound care and the management of feeding tubes. Nurses in this unit will work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive patient care. Floating to other units within the facility may be required based on staffing needs. Weekend and holiday shifts are necessary as scheduled. Nurses are expected to demonstrate strong clinical skills and professional behavior in all interactions. ***End of Description***
