Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse, located in Missouri, provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care across various units, including med surg, trauma, oncology, heart and vascular, neuro, and COVID. This role requires float within scope to meet the facilitys needs, with an emphasis on independent practice and strong clinical skills.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Two or more years of bedside nursing experience as an RN, ACLS, BLS, CPI certifications, and the ability to pass the Relias EKG exam; location requirements: MO or compact license, and out-of-area candidates only, within a 75-mile radius are not accepted.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in chemo, CCRN, NIH, TNCC, and ONS are preferred.
- Additional Requirements: Must be able to float to all inpatient units except W/I and L&D, with competency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and IV start skills.
- Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care in diverse inpatient settings, interpret dysrhythmias, manage cardiac and vasoactive drips, and execute chemotherapy administration.
- Orientation: 24 hours.
- Submission Requirements: Current license in hand at time of submittal, with compliance deadlines and modules completed prior to start.
