- Floating: Required to comparable Med/Surg Oncology units as needed

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty
- Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- Recent acute care experience must be current and consistent within the last 12 months
- Epic experience required
- Strong telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Experience with ports, central line care, PICC line management, IV starts, and blood product administration
- Comfortable with chest tube care, arterial line management, HFNC, and ABG interpretation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced oncology and medical-surgical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric medical-surgical telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition promptly and appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments, including complex therapies as ordered
- Support patients receiving chemotherapy-related care with a strong focus on infection prevention and fall prevention
- Care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including cancer, sickle cell crises, and other complex medical conditions
- Manage lines, drains, and telemetry equipment while maintaining accurate assessments and clinical documentation in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rehabilitation, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Adapt to unit needs, including floating to similar acuity Med/Surg Oncology units when needed
