Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or a similar specialty
• Current Epic charting experience required
• BLS certification required
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a rotating or variable schedule if needed
• Must be comfortable floating within comparable acuity units
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to adult and geriatric patients with complex medical and oncology-related needs
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to support timely clinical decisions
• Administer medications and treatments, including management of central lines, PICCs, ports, and IV therapy
• Support patients receiving chemotherapy, symptom management, and ongoing disease-related care
• Assist with procedures and manage specialized equipment such as telemetry monitors, bladder scanners, and infusion pumps
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention, fall prevention, and patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered healthcare
• Document care accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with the care team
