Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ACLS certification
• Stroke and telemetry certification
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg Tele, telemetry, or related acute care nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of the licensed physician
• Use the nursing process to individualize care plans for assigned patients
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide care in accordance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures
• Direct nursing support staff in the delivery of safe, effective patient care
• Respond to the needs of patients in a fast-paced Med/Surg Tele and acute care environment
