The shift will be from 19:00 to 07:00, working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse. ACLs certification is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have telemetry experience and recent acute care experience. The ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6 is essential. We value compassion and a positive, can-do attitude in our nursing staff. Experience in precepting or charge nursing is a plus. Patients on the unit may include those recovering from total joint surgeries, surgical patients, and patients with acute on chronic medical conditions. Floating to other units, such as Intermediate Care and Emergency Departments, may be required.
