Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele RN) – Day Shift

  • Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 19:30 | 36 Hours per Week
    • Schedule Structure: 12.5-hour day shifts. Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis (must explicitly state interest in submission comments).
    • Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Rotational coverage per unit operational guidelines.
    • On-Call / Standby: On-call shifts required per unit guidelines.

    • Floating Protocol & Unit Details: 5 North Acuity Adaptable Unit (30 beds). Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6 (varies by patient acuity). Mandatory floating to like units as required. Charge Nurse duties required (takes patient assignment, Pyxis checks, crash cart checks, admission/break assignments, supervisor liaison; willing to train if no prior charge experience). EMR: Epic. Dress Code: Solid black scrubs strictly required.

       

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]:
    • Minimum 2+ years of dedicated MS/Tele clinical nursing experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
    • Hands-on Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months strictly required and must be documented on resume [HARDSTOP].
    • Phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months strictly required and must be documented on resume [HARDSTOP].
  • Education Requirements [HARDSTOP]: Must hold an accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active Ohio RN License strictly required in-hand at time of submission [HARDSTOP].

  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:

    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) strictly required [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) strictly required [HARDSTOP].

     

Time-Off Submission Policy [STRICT HARDSTOP]:Maximum of 7 days total of Requested Time Off (RTO) allowed at submittal (profiles exceeding 7 days will be automatically rejected) [HARDSTOP]. Absolutely NO RTO permitted during the first two (2) weeks of the assignment [HARDSTOP]. Submission Profile Requirements [HARDSTOP]: Submission must explicitly include candidate interview availability (dates/times) in the comment section [HARDSTOP].
