Must have 2 years of current experience. Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in the specialty of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry. This position involves working nights with a 3x12-hour shift schedule. The primary patient ratio is 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night. Weekend work is required every other weekend or 2 weekends per month. Travelers will not be accommodated for requests for time off during holidays or holiday weeks. The role may involve floating within various areas of the facility as necessary. Nurses will engage with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy for comprehensive patient care. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 33 patients. Nurses will be responsible for various skills including managing ports, administering blood products, and caring for patients with conditions such as respiratory failure and congestive heart failure. A detailed understanding of charting systems, particularly Cerner, is preferred but not mandatory.
