One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for qualification. Co-worker references will not be accepted and may result in profile rejection. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Travelers must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition assessment and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required. Travelers have a maximum of two attempts to pass these assessments; failure to pass may result in cancellation of the assignment. Background checks of any kind are reviewed, and open cases will not be accepted. All travelers must be nicotine-free; a negative drug screen is required annually. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return for one year from their previous end date. BCI/FBI fingerprinting is time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a 6-month break required before returning unless approved. Modules are required pre-start and annually, with specific time commitments varying by specialty.
