Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Float Pool. This position requires adaptability and a strong commitment to patient care in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical settings while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
• Assist in the coordination of care and communicate effectively with all team members.

Position Requirements

• Current and active Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing, with the ability to float between units.
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift of 3x12-hour shifts per week, with weekends and holidays as needed.

Additional Information

This position is open to local candidates, and float pool staff are required to be flexible with their scheduling.
