Registered Nurse Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined perm experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS required
• NIHSS preferred
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• Required certifications must be active and in hand; pending items are not accepted
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Must be eligible to meet facility compliance and onboarding requirements

RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient outcomes
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with unit and facility expectations
• Support a patient-focused environment while adapting to a night shift workflow
