Travel RN Job Details
- Location: Garfield Heights, Ohio, in the Greater Cleveland area
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 12, 2027
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or an active compact-state license in hand at the time of submission
- At least 1 year of recent permanent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification before the start date
- Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and dysrhythmia management
- One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, director, or charge nurse in the specialty
- Successful completion of required ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients during overnight shifts
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
- Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms while responding appropriately to dysrhythmias
- Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with current orders and nursing standards
- Coordinate patient care with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge needs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote a safe, compassionate patient-care environment
