Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certification required
• Willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Experience with night shift workflow and telemetry monitoring preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately and timely
• Maintain professionalism and adaptability while working in a busy acute care hospital environment
• Participate in orientation, competencies, and required training modules
