Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Active Permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification preferred/required based on unit expectations
• Experience working in an acute care Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• One manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director reference from the specialty within the past 12 months
• Completion of required pre-start compliance items and onboarding modules

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to unit standards and physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and fellow nurses to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical quality and patient safety standards
• Support a fast-paced inpatient environment with professionalism, teamwork, and adaptability
