**Job Description:**
- Are you ready to make a difference in patient care? As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in evaluating patients and assisting physicians with their care.
- Plan, implement, and document comprehensive nursing care tailored to each patient's needs.
- Identify patient needs and set priorities for care through thorough assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans based on initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessments grounded in the patient’s challenges or needs, the physician’s diagnosis, and a functional health framework.
- Execute therapeutic nursing interventions that promote recovery and well-being.
- Manage patient care effectively and efficiently, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
- Document care in accordance with care standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care aligned with our professional nursing practice model.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to a collaborative and thriving healthcare environment.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting.
- Strong background in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing is essential.
**Required Education:**
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
**Required Certifications & Licensure:**
- NIHSS.
- Telemetry.
- BLS - AHA.
- CEU Contact Stroke - 4 Hours.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
**Schedule Information:**
- Shift: 7a-7p (x2), 7p-7a (x1).
- Hours Per Week: 36.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other or as needed.
- On-Call Requirement: No.
- Float Requirement: Yes.
