Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position requiring float availability across multiple units and a night shift schedule.

Details

• Resource Pool position requiring float coverage to various med-surg floors including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele
• May be required to float to the West Lakes Campus, approximately 9.5 miles from the downtown facility
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) work required

Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required for all direct patient care personnel
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple med-surg units as needed

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across various med-surg and telemetry units within the resource pool
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for consideration unless local candidate rates are offered in select states
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
