Applicants should also have experience with central line management, phlebotomy, IV starts, and orthopedic trauma. High-flow nasal cannula management, tracheostomy care, and wound care skills are essential. The nurse will work with patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The position involves care for complex long-term patients. All candidates must be flexible and willing to adapt to the dynamic nature of the unit.
