Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Travel Med/Surg Tele RN – Night Shift
36 Hours | 3x12s | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday Nights
We’re seeking an experienced Med/Surg/Telemetry RN for a 16-bed unit with additional ED boarding beds. Travelers will primarily cover Med/Tele ED holds and will be cross-trained to assist with ED tasks such as IV starts and labs.
Position Details:
• 13-week travel assignment
• 36 hours/week
• Sunday–Tuesday nights
• RN ratios up to 1:5, acuity dependent
• No call for travelers
• EPIC charting
• Free parking
• Navy scrubs
• First-time travelers may be considered
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Stroke experience
• Trach and chest tube care
• PIV starts
• NGT placement
• Drain/tube management
• PCA pumps
• Experience managing cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products & IV fluids
