License: Must have a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
Must-Have:
- Active certifications.
- Reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for within the past 12 months.
Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty.
The nurse will be required to work night shifts, specifically 3 - 12 hour shifts.
The role involves providing care for patients with various medical conditions.
A strong background in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing is essential.
This includes monitoring patients, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and responding to emergencies.
Candidates with experience in charge roles are preferred.
The facility requires compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies
Medical or religious exemptions are available.
Candidates should be prepared for a background check, including any criminal history.
Nurses and CSTs are currently exempt from nicotine-free requirements.
All other staff members must be nicotine-free.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a dedication to patient-centered care.
A successful orientation experience is required, including assessments on ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety.
