Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Overview

Join a dynamic 27-bed General Medicine Unit where clinicians are dedicated to caring for patients with a wide array of disease processes. This unit specializes in the following systems:

  • Respiratory
  • Endocrine
  • Cardiac
  • Immune/Infectious Disease
  • Renal

Position Details

This position is for night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts. The opportunity offers a commitment of either 36 or 48 hours per week over a 13-week period. Clinicians will be required to work every other weekend and two out of the three winter holidays.

Scheduling Requirements

  • Block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
  • 40 hours of time off may be approved.
  • Time off requests around Christmas cannot be accommodated.

Qualifications

  • BLS and ACLS certification preferred (not required).
  • Must adhere to the floating policy guidelines.
  • Epic experience is required.
  • Virginia nursing license pending is acceptable for submission.
