The unit is not open on Saturdays and Sundays. Holidays will be assessed individually based on surgical volumes, with a requirement to work on holidays when necessary. The primary patient population includes post-procedural patients who typically stay 1-3 nights following surgery. Additional responsibilities may include caring for cath lab patients and some emergency room overflow, as needed. Candidates must have current certifications including BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
