Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in the Iowa region. This position involves providing patient care within a comprehensive interdisciplinary team at a Level 2 trauma center. The role requires clinical expertise in managing patients with cardiac, heparin, and insulin drips, including titration responsibilities, and may involve floating across local campuses as needed.
Job Details
- Certifications and Qualifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS (AHA); Iowa licensed registered nurse; at least 3 years of nursing experience; minimum 2 years in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units; EPIC electronic medical record experience; eligibility to work outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; recent skills checklist completion (within 1 year); supervisory reference required at the time of submission; copy of licenses and certifications; drivers license preferred.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week; start date 11/02/2026 and end date 02/01/2027.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing, with at least 3 years of overall nursing experience. The role involves managing titrated drips such as cardiac, heparin, and insulin on the unit, with specific trauma center experience preferred.
