Telemetry monitoring, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours, is required. Experience with TR Band is necessary. The position involves caring for ED border patients, serving as a medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and caring for non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU. The clinician to patient ratio is up to 5:1 during Day and Evening shifts and up to 6:1 during Night shifts. Units range from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation requirements include rotating from Days and Evenings to Nights with 1 to 3 rotations per contract. The charting system used is EPIC.
