Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips. Float throughout the facility to various Med/Surg Tele areas. Must measure intervals and interpret telemetry strips every 4 hours. Clinician to patient ratio will be up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night. Care for patients in the emergency department and acute mental health units. Also responsible for caring for non-vented patients who are transfer-ready from the ICU. Facility has a bed count of 371, with unit sizes ranging from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation may include transitioning from days/evenings to night shifts. Electronic medical record system utilized: EPIC. Applicants must possess required certifications and experience.
