Candidates must be able to read telemetry strips. The unit is a 41-bed medical telemetry unit. Minimum of 2 years of experience required in one location. Travelers are required to float to applicable units when needed. Shifts rotate between days and nights. The clinician to patient ratio is 1 to 4/5 during days and 1 to 5/6 during evenings and nights. Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use disorder, GU, and GI patients. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.
