Description:
Unit is a 24-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit.
The nurse-patient ratio is 1:5, may increase to 1:6 if census rises.
Nurses must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips, with an in-person test on the first day.
Work schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday.
Cancellations: One week's worth of guaranteed hours may be canceled over the 13-week period.
Charting system used is TruBridge - Evident.
