Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a 12-bed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. This role will involve providing high-quality care to patients with a range of diagnoses.

Unit and Patient Information

  • 12 Bed MS/Tele Unit
  • Patient to Nurse Ratio: 1:4
  • Common Patient Diagnoses:
    • Respiratory Illnesses
    • Renal Illnesses
    • Diabetes
    • Sepsis
    • Cellulitis
    • Infections
    • Heart Failure
    • Sickle Cell Disease
    • Cystic Fibrosis

Schedule and Hours

  • Shift: Night 4x12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00)
  • Available Hours: 36 or 48 Hours per week
  • Work Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
  • Time-off coverage up to 40 hours approved

Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must adhere to floating policy as outlined in guidelines
  • Epic experience is required
  • Virginia nursing license is preferred; applicants with a pending license may be considered

Contract Details

This is a 13-week contract position that offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.
