Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Join a dedicated team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and the ability to work effectively in a team nursing model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, and medical nurses.
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:12, optimally split between team members.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in compliance with NLC guidelines.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma center required.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in a large hospital setting is essential.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Work Schedule:

This position requires availability for day shifts, working 4x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekend requirements may be discussed during the interview process, but block scheduling is not accommodated.

Additional Information:

• First-time travelers may only be considered if they possess 5 or more years of experience in the specialty.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.
• Local candidates are not accepted; a strict 100-mile radius rule is in effect.
