- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities based on skill set and department needs
- Charting System: Epic experience required
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,950
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon, or eligibility to obtain
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience required
- Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills required
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS certification required
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
- Ability to safely manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5
- Must have reliable transportation for the assignment
- Must be willing to float as needed within scope of practice
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Interpret and manage telemetry monitoring as a core responsibility
- Administer medications, therapies, and treatments according to patient plans of care
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status accurately in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Support safe patient mobility, discharge preparation, and care coordination
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- Float to other units or nearby facilities when needed to meet patient care demands
