Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nursing position available in the healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care across medical-surgical units with telemetry monitoring, requiring proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and titration of cardiac medications.
Job Details
- Certifications and Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); minimum 2 years of clinical experience required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Care for postoperative cardiac procedure patients, neuro postoperative patients, and general medical-surgical patients with telemetry. Capable of interpreting EKGs and titrating cardiac drips. Ensure proper patient monitoring and safety.
- Additional Information: Floating to various tele, medical-surgical, and observation units including Cardiac Tele, Neuro, and MedSurg units with flexible campus and unit assignments. Orientation includes 2 days on the floor. Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of contract offer and a simulation lab on day one of orientation.
