**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Unit:** Critical Care Step-Down (CCSD)
- **Shift:** 7 PM - 7 AM
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Requirement:** Work every other weekend (24 hours)
- **Number of Openings:** 3
- **Call Requirements:** None
**Unit Highlights:**
- **Trauma Level:** 3
- **Number of Beds:** 22
- **Patient Ratios:** 4:1
- **Supervisor:** Karen Adams, RN
- **Patient Population:** Adults (18 years and up)
- **Equipment:** Cardiac monitors, suction, O2, vital sign machines
- **EHR:** Meditech
**Must-Have Skills/Experience:**
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Excellent assessment skills
- Critical thinking skills
**Preferred Skillset/Experience:**
- Post cardiac catheterization care
- Peritoneal dialysis
**Common Diagnosis/Treatment:**
- Cardiac issues
- Sepsis
- Acute respiratory failure
- Congestive heart failure (CHF) exacerbation
- Post-operative care
- CIWA
**Personality Fit:**

**Education Requirements:**
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
