**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical
- **Location:** Danville Regional Medical Center – Sovah Health, Danville, VA
- **Shift:** 7 PM to 7 AM (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- **Unit:** 5A
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Number of Openings:** 1
- **Patient Population:** Serves all ages from geriatric to pediatric
**Unit Highlights:**
- **Total Beds:** 24
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:6
- **EHR System:** Meditech
- **Supervisor:** Lori Wilson, Director, Acute Care Nursing Operations
**Requirements:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in Med/Surg; preferred 2+ years
- **Required Certifications:**
- BLS
- HWC (available on-site)
- NIH
- **Education:** Valid RN licensure in Virginia
- **Float Requirements:** As needed
