Job Summary:
Medical Surgical (MS) Telemetry (TELE) RN position available in an inpatient healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care on a telemetry unit, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. The assignment offers a dynamic environment for licensed RNs with at least one year of experience to apply their skills in a fast-paced setting, starting on 10/26/2026.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon (OR) state nursing license with an expected timeline of two weeks for licensure processing; 1 year of RN experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Preferred certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Chemo certification; Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system; Proven ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias; Med/Surg and telemetry unit experience preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in neuro exams, trauma, or specialized procedures are advantageous.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within the health system as needed.
  • Additional Information: This position involves providing care to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with a focus on patients diagnosed with ESRD, post-surgical conditions, sepsis, osteomyelitis, and those receiving chemotherapy. Candidates should be comfortable managing telemetry equipment, starting and maintaining IVs, and performing neuro assessments including NIH Stroke Scale evaluations. The assignment runs from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027, with a start date potentially delayed up to 8 weeks if licensure is still in process. Candidates are required to submit references, certifications, and proof of license application as part of their submission.
