Schedule: Every other weekend required; Float pool assignment

Requirements:
- Valid Michigan RN License (active and in good standing)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience required
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required
- Ability to work in a float pool capacity across multiple units
- Strong commitment to attendance and schedule reliability
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and monitor condition changes throughout hospital stay
- Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications including IV therapy; manage wound care and specialized equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and discharge instructions
- Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients
