Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele Float

Job Description

The MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the medical-surgical and telemetry settings. This role requires a dedicated and adaptable nurse who can effectively float within various units while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Shift Information

• 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, ensuring timely intervention and reporting of critical changes.
• Perform EKG and other diagnostic tests as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Float within skillset and acuity levels as required by the unit's needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Flu vaccination required for all employees.
