Description:
No option for 13 weeks.
Must accept for 26 weeks if offered.
Posted as MS Tele due to EKG requirement for all RNs and tele-capable unit.
However, the patient population will be primarily MS.
The schedule consists of 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Requires every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Will be required to work Charge RN shifts as needed.
Floating is required as needed.
All travelers may be floated across all facilities if needed.
BLS certification is required.
EPIC experience is required.
Patient ratios are 1:6.
Traveler will be required to pass an EKG exam during onboarding.
Use of Rapid Response teams is expected.
Responsibilities include blood product administration, peripheral line care management, and starting IVs.
Familiarity with Heparin, Insulin, and PCA is necessary.
Knowledge of nasal cannula usage and isolation precautions is required.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
Daily census information is not provided.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support.
Preparation for special procedures and proper equipment usage is necessary.
Technology proficiency and adherence to protocols are essential.
All travelers must be able to complete required modules during orientation.
