The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients in a critical access setting. The nurse will participate in interdisciplinary support, coordinating with physical therapy, respiratory services, and other departments. The expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-6 during shifts. The nurse will be responsible for assessing and managing various patient needs, including surgical care and wound management. Weekend shifts will be required, with a minimum of every other weekend. The position does not require on-call duty. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as necessary. All responsibilities must be performed while adhering to safety and quality standards.
