Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical/Surgical Tele unit requiring 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and a DC RN license.

Details

  • Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts per week
  • 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Active DC RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA only)
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • BSN highly desired
  • Two manager or supervisor references required, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

  • Deliver competent, capable, and efficient patient care across the life span
  • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and document findings according to policy
  • Determine appropriate nursing needs for assigned patients based on assessment data
  • Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • Local candidates accepted within the radius requirement
