Travelers will be expected to handle a mix of MS/Tele cases and float to different areas as needed. The nurse-to-patient ratio is targeted at 1:6 for MS/Tele and 1:4 for PCU level patients. Travelers must be available to work every other weekend. This position requires participation in a Storm Team or Hurricane Team and may require reporting during emergencies. Patients may present with any medical or surgical adult diagnosis. Staffing and scheduling are flexible based on the operational needs of the organization. Staff will receive support from various interdisciplinary teams. Candidates must be comfortable with floating across multiple units. Effective communication and documentation skills are essential.
